Greenbrier Announces Closing of Common Stock Offering

The Greenbrier Companies today announced that it has closed its previously announced public offering of 4,000,000 shares of its common stock.

BofA Merrill Lynch and Jefferies & Company, Inc. acted as joint book-running managers for the offering.

The offering was made under Greenbrier's shelf registration statement which was filed with, and declared effective by, the Securities and Exchange Commission.
